hi, my name is carole. i just found your page and i got to say that i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went natural on august, the 6th of 2008, and for a newbie like me, it is giving me a lot of motivation to keep going natural. i am glad that people still love BLACK HAIR and do go natural because it is part of our identity and heritage and not a kind of trend that everybody must follow. that's great. i would love to be interviewed in your page. anyway, keep doing it, you all are the bomb. big kisses from france. I was born and raised in the UK so I'm a native. I live behind Leavesden Studios where they film Harry Potter (and some of the James Bond movies) - I've never actually read any of the books or seen the movies but you can see a lot of the big buildings when you drive past which is pretty cool. On natural hair and work... I think recently, the natural hair scene has gotten bigger over here. The spots where I tend to hang out attract a lot of women with natural hair which I really like. I work as a graphic designer for ITN which is a news station and I've only recently started wearing natural hair and I was pretty scared about taking out my straight braids. Most of the women in my department have relaxed hair and I guess because when it comes to the news you don't usually see a lot of news readers...

1. MSM Sulfur... It's awesome! It's a supplement that aids with hair growth. From my understanding, it also helps with general body health. But J can expound on that... she's the expert. In any case, here's a pic... 2. I'm what's hot in the nail shop... I am the best thing to happen to Pro Nails. The sulfur supplements also strengthen my nails, so whenever I go in to get them done they're strong and well-shaped. When I came in the other day, the lady at the front thought I had a fill-in. That's how dope my situation is right now. 3. It stinks... My hair, that is. I wrote a few weeks back that I can't use spritzes cause the moisture gets on my face and causes break outs. Well the alternative — just using Elasta QP mango butter and castor oil — is causing my hair to smell terrible. I guess the moisture in spritzes serves as a cleansing agent at some level.
